I have been working in the “Accounting/Bookkeeping” field for about 5 years now. I have never really went to school for it, its al lbeen hadns on training. I would like to brush up on my skills (the book way), so I was thinking I could purchase soem software that I could refresh and teach myself at home. I can not afford to go to school and dont have the time to the schools locations. I am a single mother and I need to be able to keep income coming in. I have a job now (2 years), but lately I have been feeling as though I could be more helpful if I knew the fundimentals of accounting. I know it in “lay man” terms but not book terms…….. I work with the Quick books software, but I need the software to learn what I would if I acutally went to a school.

Okay. My brother has a kid that needs to be home schooled. The School recommended it, so they gave him a laptop and the home schooling software needed. So he had to sign up for it, and like any other home schooling program, they had to take out money from his account monthly. Well he doesn’t have good enough ‘credit’ so they said to consult someone you know who has good enough credit that would be willing to co-sign. So the way it works, is that if we co-sign, the money will automatically come out of his account. So if he doesn’t have enough money in his account, won’t it come out of our account? And if we refuse, then won’t it lower our credit score?
